Creative workshops

Based on years of experience, working with different interest and age groups, the Museum’s curatorial team in charge of educational programs, has developed numerous contents on different topics in the field of African art and culture. In addition to introducing the objects on display in the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions, the educational programs insist on the an interactive approach: presentations, active conversations, the hands-on approach to material culture, as well as creative (practical) work through using a variety of media.

The Sunday at the Museum creative workshops are a regular programme organised every Sunday, from 11 am to 1 pm. This creative workshop programme is linked to the current thematic exhibition. Workshops on Sunday are for individual visits, i.e. children aged 4-12 years. No booking required. Click here to find out more about Sunday at the Museum.

Creative workshops (with/without guided tour) can be organised and tailored for different interest groups and institutions: schools, universities, art schools, specialised institutions, etc. For this type of organised groups visit with creative workshop booking is necessary.
